How I Was Quoted In The Huffington Post – YOU Can Be Too!

Now with so many shows, so many magazines, so many online publications and bloggers begging for content, you must make your move! This is your time to become the expert in your field.

Having just been quoted in a Huffington Post article, the path is smooth and easy.

Here’s my example step-by-step:

  • I signed up for H.A.R.O. (Help A Reporter Out) helpareporter.com
  • Now I receive emails in the morning and the afternoon with a list of topics to see if one is a match for me.
  • I clicked on the topic of “How to Make a Perfect Pitch to the Media” (right in my wheelhouse) and answered the email.
  • Huffington Post freelance writer Jerry Nelson sent me a thank you email with a link to the article.

Here is the HUFFPOST headline:

And my quote!

Pretty simple, huh?

Think about what having your name in an article, or being asked to be on a TV segment, can do for your business or your career.

You should also share it on social media to keep the momentum moving. Plus you’re moving up the Search Engine Optimization chain too because an established site has now put your name, and hopefully your link, on one of its pages.

Every day H.A.R.O. emails come in and I see perfect topics for my media coaching clients. It’s a great feeling knowing they can handle any interview now.

For more tips on attracting the media, a great resource is my new book “On Air – Insider Secrets to Attract the Media and Get Free Publicity”.

Enjoy!
